My family and I were staying @ the Rosen Orlando from Miami, FL and one of the manager's there recommended this restaurant to us.
First off, you would never expect such ambiance and deliciousness from this place based on its surroundings. Secondly, the food was superb. This is the 1st restaurant that has WOW'd my wife in the 10 years we have been together, and we regularly dine out in fine restaurants across our area. I too agree with her on the taste of the food. The mozzarella triangles($4.99) with marinara were excellent, not greasy and the cheese was fresh and not chewy like you get at chain Italian restaurants. The best appetizer was the lump crab filled mushroom caps($7.99)....Oh too die for. For the main course we had Chicken Marsala($14.99) and Tarantino's Chicken and Linguine($15.99). The chicken marsala was lightly breaded, good food portions for the price, the mushrooms were delectable and succulent, and finally the sauce was exquisite. The noodles were also cooked al-dente. The Tarantino's linguine dish was awesome.....the Alfredo sauce was perfect....not too heavy or greasy. The Chicken was cook to tenderness. At last to the deserts....We had both of the in-house made deserts, Creme Brulee and Tiramasu.....Both were excellent again. We cant wait to visit again later this year. Too bad we cant franchise.....You guys have a lovely restaurant and should be proud of your accomplishments. I hope this recommendation finds other patrons well on their visit to the Orlando/Kissimmee area. Well worth our 12 mile one way trip.
Pros: Authentic Italian, Ambiance, Price
Cons: Distance from Disney/Universal/Aquatica
