I recently came here for lunch and ordered the filete Nayarit. A fish filet prepared Nayarit style. It wasn't quite what I was expecting. And my doctor would cringe if she knew I was eating something like this. But, wow, forget the usual enchilada/taco/burrito fare. Not that they don't have those things, but you can get those anywhere. For this dish, they take a white fish filet, put cheese, shrimp, and octopus on it, roll it up into a ball, coat it, and fry it. The result is a crunchy fish ball, about the size of a softball. When you cut into it, the cheese comes oozing out. It costs a little more than what one spends on a ""cheap"" Mexican meal....about $12. But it was definitely satisfying on many different levels. The menu has a fair number of seafood dishes, and now I'm curious enough that I want to go back and find out what other interesting things they have.
Pros: some different offerings from usual Mexican fare
