It may seem stupid, but the idea of going to a financial planner to air all of my money issues was really intimidating and embarassing for me. At our first appointment Thomas put me at ease. He understood that it wasn't easy for me to talk about something so personal as my money and spending habits. He never passed judgement. He created a plan based on my priorities and was really clear about my options. I can actually see a light at the end of my debt tunnel and better yet, I now have a little financial cushion for those unexpected expenses that used to go on my credit card.
