My two children and I went Gibsons Arena for family fun on my day off. When we arrived at Gibson's we placed our 3 free passes on the counter. The owners daughter was said that ""Those are not our passes we do not even have anything that looks like that."" I responded with ""yes they are"". Then she asked me ""when did you get these?"" I told her that ""I had gotten them from here"" She said that"" We do not pass anything out that looks like that"" I was starting to feel degraded. I told her ""It was a year or two ago... but they have no expiration date."" I thought to myself, we recieved them from the booth at a friends birthday party. She said she would have to check with the owner to see if he would accept the passes. While she was gone I glanced around and saw that the same pass that I had handed over was hanging in the window next to a pink pass. I was sure that this was the problem. My pass was yellow. When she returnd she said that ""We are not going to accept these."" I pointed out to the Gibson employee that the pass that I had given to her was hanging in the window. They were the same. She told me ""no, that these look totally different and that they had never passed out passes that looked like these"". Then she told me ""you could of made these"" I asked her, ""are you calling me a liar? Obviously, I was getting frustrated, upset and angry. This employee humiliated me in front of my children and other patrons. She said ""Well,"" then shrugged and smiled at me. ""Why are you smiling?, Do you find this funny?"" then I asked, ""Could I speak with the owner"" She told me ""no"". Then she pulled out her accepted pass and placed it next to my pass. I understood where her disorientation came from, I had trimmed the edges of my pass. This is so that it would fit into my wallet, I explained. Then she called for the ext people in line. She humiliated me In front of my children over the pass. Are you serious? I threw the passes back through the window, spoke and vowed never to go back.
