My mom died suddenly and I had no idea what to do. I went to a funeral home who gave me an itemized price list of what was included for each cost. It was $6k to have a visitation and a cremation! A friend recommended that I call St. Louis Cremation and I'm so glad I did! We got a visitation and cremation for about $2k instead. Just as important to me as cost, the staff there were very caring and compassionate. Janis, especially, was very kind. She went out of her way to research a temporary grave marker for me and also had the online slideshow burned to CD so we could play it during the visitation. I highly recommend this business.
Pros: Got exactly what we needed during a difficult time.
Cons: Location. We live south but were willing to make the drive.
