I admit that I am a snob when it comes to my haircuts. I have a ton of long, thick hair and I need someone who knows what they are doing. I was going to the same, high end stylist in Chicago for almost 10 years. Then we moved to Charlotte. For hours I researched a new stylist via the web and friends. I was impressed with the reviews that I saw for Nikki.
I also admit that I have only gone to men to cut my hair. I was always told that male stylists will "tell you the truth." But, I was willing to give Nikki a try.
I walked in the salon and was pleased with the color and decor on the walls, the music playing, the warm reception, and the short wait time. Nikki greeted me with a smile and got to work right away asking questions on what I was looking for in a style.
I have to tell you, it's the best cut I've ever gotten. I used to pay over $100 for a cut, and Nikki's cut beats my old stylist, hands down. She gave me the right cut for my face, and didn't just do what I thought I wanted. She gave me some ideas and asked if that met with my approval.
For your ladies that have had children and have lost the "life" in your hair, the cut Nikki does, in addition to the oil product she uses, makes your hair shine and feel so soft. If feels just like it did before I had babies.
I can't say enough about her. Start with her now before she's so busy, you can't get in to see her. In addition, I was looking at the cuts of the other stylists walking out of Fresh Salon while I was there, and was equally impressed with them as well. I don't think you would go wrong with anyone there. This is a new salon that is sure to catch on and grow fast.
Nikki, you're amazing. As long as I'm in Charlotte, you have me as a client.
