Should you sacrifice customer service and respect for the customer for a good haircut? That is the question you’ll have to ask yourself if you go to Lush Art of Hair Salon. I have always believed that customer service improves with cost of your purchase. Compare the sales associate at Saks Fifth Avenue with the cashier at Wal-Mart. Working with the owner of Lush is like shopping at Saks with Wal-Mart’s cashier as your customer service. She showed very little regard for the customer, and was blatantly rude, defensive, and condescending. Is a great haircut worth $400, and dealing with Cruella DeVille? Your call. (oh, and a week of phone tag when you want to make an appointment, since they are apparently too cheap to have a receptionist and make a policy of not answering the phones. Say “hi” to the answering machine!)
