We moved recently and got quotes from several moving companies. Shlepper's gave us the cheapest "Quote", $140 per hour, 6 hours total = $840. When I asked if we would definitely be charged $840 (or the $140/hr), our salesperson Frank, gave me a verbal agreement and order of service that this would be the case. He was very buddy, buddy over the phone ensuring us we wouldn't be charged more. Well the move took 9 hours instead of 6, and we wound up being charge over $1,300. WHAT?! The actual guys who moved us did a great job, damaging nothing, and worked hard. But, we felt lied to. Other moving companies told us the rate was way too low and we should have believed them. We wound up paying MORE than we were quoted by other much more professional companies. Again, the actual movers, three Russian guys were great but because of shady salespeople, I would not recommend Shleppers.
