We went there for lunch and were met at the elevator by a woman with an ear bud (which makes her cool, right?) behind a velvet rope. She asked if we had reservations. We said no, and were told everything was reserved, but we could sit at the bar. We assumed the place was full. We found the last empty seats at the bar. As we ate, other diners were escorted up to the bar area. There were no seats left at the bar, so they stood while 80% of the tables sat empty. I guess the policy is to ask people to stand at the bar rather than give them one of the “reserved” but empty tables. I guess exclusive image counts more than making sure the customer is taken care of. I won’t go back on principle. I can get overpriced, mediocre food at other places
