CAR BUYERS BEWARE OF THIS LATEST SCAM IN DUBLIN NISSAN I had an unpleasant experience buying a car from Dublin Nissan. . I decided on a new Nissan Versa and agreed on a price with the sales person. The next phase was financing I filled out the loan application and after an hour or so by putting 50 percent down dealership financing department was able to secure a loan with Chase for the remainder. Here is where the scam begins. The salesperson came with 7.99 % interest rate 7500 dollar down and 48 payments of 215 dollars including gap insurance and doubling the factory warranty time from 36 mo to 72 mo. But they made it look like they are throwing two free items the gap insurance and the extended warranty. From my previous exprerience dealing with dealers I said no to the gap insurance and extended warranty. Salesman returned with 7.99% interest rate for 48 months and 179 dollars monthly payment.
