My mother, my aunt, and I went to Alexandria to search for a bridal gown. We entered Hannelores to make an appointment (which I'll admit, is unorthodox.) Of course we were asked point blank what our budget was and we answered-and I couldn't believe it, but one of the salesclerks actually smirked. Another took us upstairs and preceded to point out gowns that were "the most beautiful gowns she'd seen"-and those were thousands of dollars over our budget. They were so arrogant I had no desire to even return to the store. I called and canceled my appointment. The thought of walking through the doors made me feel sick to my stomach.
