I love Pennsauken Animal Hospital. The staff and Dr. Rippie and Dr. McLahan are great. Recently while Dr. Rippie was away on vacation, I had a very unfortunate experience with Dr. Dubin. My dog was a heart patient who took a turn for the worse. He was having a lot of trouble breathing. Dr. Rippie had warned me this could happen because his heart was so bad. I didn't want him to suffer so I took him in to be euthanized. When I got to the hospital I was shocked at how we were treated. Dr. Dubin barely glanced at the dog. He wouldn't look at his x-rays. He gave him a shot and told me to take him home. The dog still couldn't breathe and I expressed my concern that my pet was suffering. The doctor threw his arms up in the air and walked out of the room. I had no choice but to take my dog home. He couldn't breathe unless I held him straight up. Even then he was still struggling to catch his breath. This was a hard decision for me to make. I didn't take it lightly and I wasn't giving up on my
