My girlfriend and I recently moved to Charleston. We have tried many of the restaurants and have found most to be quite enjoyable. This was not one of those places. From the minute we walked in we were somothered by one Hall family member after the next. I felt like I was in somekind of nightmare family reunion. The ambiance was mediocre at best and looked a bit cheap. The steaks had little to no flavor and the service was absolutely horrible. One manager said he would like to take care of dessert for us but when the bill was dropped the desserts were still on there. Halls is trying to hard and failing. If your looking for a great steakhouse in Charleston try Oak Steakhouse.
