Went to T-Phillips today for the first time. I had checked the menu online and was looking forward to trying out their jambalaya. When we received the menu card I noticed the paper was very wrinkled and had food stains (spills) on it. The menu did not match with the one online - there was no jambalaya. Decided to pick the Filet Mignon for approx $29, ordered 'medium rare'. The salad which came with it was very basic - a plate of hard and bitter lettuce with some dressing, but no other vegetables. We waited quite long to get our entrees (at least 30 mins), one of the waitresses said it was because the steak was taking long. Medium rare steak should NOT take a long time! When the food arrived, it was overcooked to 'well done' so I sent it back. The waitress said when the new one would come, I should check if it's good and if it would be undercooked I could send it back for some more cooking. RED FLAG !!! About 10 mins later a new steak came, this one was seriously undercooked (pretty much raw and just cold in the center). I sent it back again, the chef brought it back later, didn't apologize or anything but just seemed annoyed. I'm also pretty convinced the meat had been frozen (which could explain why it did take long...). Staff didn't care about the screw-ups. They never said anything or asked whether the rest of the food was good (it was just mediocre). I would not recommend the food to anyone and I will not go there again. For beers it may be OK (selection is quite large) but I would stay away from the food. Pros: Nice location, nice inside Cons: Poor food quality, poor service, very disappointing more
