I discovered Angela after a nightmare hair color and cut disaster in Reno. I asked a sophisticated friend from the bay area with great hair who did her hair and she divulged her secret was Angela!! Lesson learned, ask a friend before trusting someone with a lot of seemingly positive online reviews, (I'm guessing some stylists find ways to rack up positive reviews that aren't honest.) WOW! Angela is SO talented!!! She took great care in taming the big blotches of white blond and brassy cast that hung on my head. When I walked out of her salon I couldn't believe the magic that had happened so quickly. I'm not one to write reviews but this was so unusual and wonderful I figured an honest review and a big thumbs up to Angelea was in order. I liked it so much I came back a couple of days later for her Brazilian Straightening treatment. Another huge thumbs up to angela for the best straightening process I've experienced. Her process got rid of the frizz but still allows me to curl it when I want to. Cool! I've always lived in big cities like NY and LA where one can find a number of talented stylists but Tahoe is difficult. I'm so relieved! I have no doubt Angela is THE BEST colorist and cut artist in the Tahoe/Reno area. \r

I want to note that the other stylist in Reno that added massive white streaks and brassy orangy color had a lot of positive reviews on Citysearch so I felt safe only to discover she was giving clients a $70.00 discount off of any future service (nails, massage, etc.) in exchange for writing a review!!! Needless to say I'm now skeptical about online reviews. While I was at her salon the girl in front of me complained that she hated her color and had asked for no ash (her hair was very ashy), the woman who got a haircut after me (while I was in foil) said are you mad at your boyfriend today because you cut the front of my hair so short last time while you were talking about how upset you were at him, and another woman called while I was in her chair complaining about how much she hated the eyebrows she'd just done, leading the stylist to say I'll refund your $15. since I talked you into them. This leads me to believe her reviews are not honest. I hope this helps someone out! Cheers!\r
