I work for a large company and we hosted a fair. A representative from Suncoast came out and had a drawing for a FREE security system. I won the drawing and this representative called me numerous times so that HE could install the system. The day of the install an unmarked vehicle arrived at my home with a man that had no id on his clothing nor did his business card seem to be up to date. He began installing the unit, drilling about ten holes in my walls that he never patched up. Once he was done he then said I need a credit card and/or a check to start the service. I told him no that was not agreed upon before hand, that I didn’t trust him, and that he should remove his device from my home. He stated that he would talk to the head man and they would then start the account with the company credit card so that it would look like we actually paid the start up fee for this 3rd party ADT security system. I told him remove it, he said it would take a long time and that they have used the company credit card before and that it would be ok. He promised he would return on Monday.... almost 2 years later he never returned, Suncoast keeps giving me the run around, they reported this to the credit bureau and now I have to take legal action. DO NOT BELIEVE WHAT THEY ARE SAYING OR SELLING. ADT knows about this and they are doing nothing. This is ruining our credit for a machine that never worked, turned on and off by itself, and was defective. The worst company to work with or to even know!
