I started going to Cafe Normandie almost 20 years ago. Their food, especially their salmon, is very good, but the service is the absolute worst that I've experienced in years - even in Paris at the height of the tourist season. The waiters are rude, took forever to serve our meal, and there was a 30 minute interval between when they brought out half of the entrees and the remaining ones. Worse, they brought out the final bill, for which I gave them a credit card, and then they changed the total by almost $50 when they brought back the credit card slip for me to sign (without the itemized receipt). I can't imagine worse service - we had gone there to celebrate a birthday and an important interview and were very, very disappointed.
Pros: Salmon is very tasty
Cons: Horrible service, fradulent charges on credit card
