I was told that the vet suspected a tumor on the spine, but he wasn't sure. He recommended x-rays and a blood work up. I told him to do the x-ray first, then do the blood work if he was still unsure. That saved me a bunch of money, I'm sure. I only wish I had told him to take ONE x-ray, and then take another only if the first was inconclusive. The bill to examine my cat ($90), take two x-rays ($94 per x-ray) and inject her to put her to sleep ($70!!) came to $348. Outrageous. The staff were all kind, but the bill was cruel! The shot to put her to sleep was administered by an assistant and could not have cost the vet more than $10. Very unhappy with their greed during my time of need.
Pros: Open after hours. Pleasant staff.
