We've been going to The Resort for several years and were excited when new owners took it over. The remodel is beautiful, the rooms are very comfortable and pretty. The people working at The Resort are top notch & will do anything they can to make your stay exceptional.
THE FOOD IS unremarkable and disappointing. We've tried Altitude several times hoping each time it would be different but it was the same experience. The deep fried foods were over fried and burnt tasting, the meats were tough/chewy and tasteless. The salads are equally disappointing, lacking in flavor and overdressed and watery. Soup is the same way-bland. Oddly enough, brunch at The Resort is fantastic but is only offered on occasion--worth the drive when they do offer brunch, check their website. On the bright side, The Resort has a wonderful wine list and great desserts. If you're staying at The Resort, there are other restaurants nearby that are quite good The Rendezvous and The Skyway Bar & Grill. Good luck to The Resort, we hope they will work to improve the food at Altitude. It's one of the most beautiful and serene properties we've ever seen and enviably close to skiing and offers a 27-hole golf course.
Pros: Gorgeous Property
Cons: Unremarkable Food
