This was wonderful. The first time did hurt, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Julie asked me what my pain level was of my first brazilian and I told her it was a 7. When I returned for my touch up it was about a 2. She was right. The touch ups are not bad at all. The first one wasn't unbearable but there were a few ouchy spots. I am African American and I used to shave and I got so many bumps. My girlfriends at work told me I needed to go see the Sugar Mama-Julie. They told me that she doesn't use hot wax but uses sugar. I had no idea how this sugaring thing works. She just takes a glob and spreads it on your hair and pulls it up. Its amazing how it works. I am so relieved I did this. I only have a few bumps now and I used to be covered with them when I shaved. This is so much better than shaving. I stay completely clean for 4 weeks and only a few hairs are grown back by the time I need a touch up in 6 weeks. My husband reminds me when its time for a touch up. I think he likes it more than I do. In fact, I know he loves it. He couldn't get enough. I rather enjoy the sensations of no hair as well. This is a very fun atmosphere. Julie is so laid back and funny. I felt very at ease. I was very self conscious going in to this but you will love her. She will make you laugh while you get this done. I would definitely recommend this service.
