For the past 10 or so years I wanted to try pilates but frankly was afraid to. I knew that pilates was a mind and body disciplined art. As a physical therapist I went into pilates with Lisa feeling confident with my functional anatomy knowledge. Lisa blew me away with how much she knew and understood about the body, how it moves and what to do to engage the correct postural muscles and gain the core and postural strength you need. What impressed me the most was how she was able to keep up a steady pace with me and transition me from one move to the next totally targetng what I needed to strengthen.
