Disappointing experience 6/25/2010

I visited two nights ago with a party of four. After we were seated, our waiter disappeared for a long period of time, leaving us unable to get refills on our drinks. When I did get an order taken for a second beer, it never showed up at our table although it did appear on the check. The complimentary bread did not come to our table. When we asked for it, our waiter went into a lengthy and unnecessary explanation of why it was not his fault. When we asked for water, we got another story about how he was not allowed to fill our water but how he would heroically find someone to do it. The food took so long that we finally gave up and asked to have it to go. To do this I had to leave my table and hunt down our waiter who was busy chatting with his cohorts near the kitchen. I can't really comment on the food since we took it away and it was cold when we ate it. Very bad experience! Pros: Nice location Cons: Service! more
