They were the lowest quote in our bidding process and we gave them the green light to move forward with our awning project--only to never hear from them again.
Even after repeated phone calls and messages asking them to please let us know if they couldn't do the project or not we heard nothing. Very unprofessional.
Because of this our whole project got behind schedule as we had to scramble to find someone else. Not only that, but the grant that our project was under would only accept this lowball quote so that is all that they would reimburse for, despite the fact that this quote didn't match what another company ended up doing!
I understand if a company gets busy or takes on too many projects--but at least let people know the situation and don't leave them hanging.
