I purchased two classes for my husband as a wedding gift. He has expressed interest in cooking and I found that this school offered a great selection of classes and found two that I knew he would love. The prices however were still on the high side compared to other classes I found in the area. He attended the first class and had a great time. But when the next class was coming up he was interviewing for a few jobs. He was offered a job (on a friday evening) and was asked to please start on that Monday (the class was tuesday). We both worked Saturday and Sunday during the hours that the Viking School was opened. We looked online and couldn't find any information about canceling or rescheduling a class and from his last class he remembered someone calling out THAT MORNING and rescheduling with no problem. anyway, since we called 24 hours before and not 48 we were told we were out of luck and the $70 I spent on a gift now was a waste. They refuse to work with you and will NOT refund any class even if it means losing a future long time student. It is an awful business, they never returned calls for over a week and then blamed it all on us. We are young and don't have a lot of money and they refused to recognize this. Do not go to them. It is a complete waste of your time and money, especially if life happens and something else comes up.
Pros: classes are fun
Cons: difficult to work with, no refunds.
