Our experience with Absolute Comfort began 4 years ago (2006). We had an old system that needed to be completely replaced. We went with this company for the work. The system never really cooled well at all. On June 25, 2008, we found the system acting as though it were freezing up. We would shut it off for an hour, then turn it on and it would blow cool air again. Absolute Comfort sent a technician and he told us the evaporator coil was leaking freon and needed to be replaced. It was under warranty and labor would be $1200.00. In the middle of a Houston summer, we were in a pinch and had to do it. After the replacement coil, the system cooled fairly well for about a month or so. Then, it went back to freezing up.
Cons: bad techs; bad service; EXPENSIVE
