I unfortunately called Neerings to come out and fix my food disposal. He told me how much it would be and I reluctantly decided to go with it. He pulled out a Popsicle stick and then charged me $166. He was honestly at my house for 5 minutes. Any legit, ethical company would laugh and the Popsicle stick and charge you maybe for the service call. But oh no, not Neerings.
I was so pissed about it that I called and finally spoke with the service manager Brad at the office. He was very rude about it and asked me what I did for a living. He laughed about it when I told him that I'm a financial analyst and he called me a bean counter.
I eventually spoke with Mr Neerings himself and he mentioned that they would give me $50 off my next service call. I told him that I will never call Neerings again.
All of the reasons they justified for charging me this include the following: Their techs have four year degrees, expensive insurance, it's their way to stay competitive.
This is all bullshit. They ripped me off and I will never call them again. I'll tell you what the Neerings dad won't be able to fix is the broken nose I give him if I ever see him.
Somebody please tell me how I can get back at them or there is anywhere else I can voice my opinion. I felt sympathy for all the other negative comments I read. Notice that all the comments are negative except for maybe two.
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Dishonest, rude, unethical
