My daughter and her friends rented a limo from Party Time last night. 21st birthday for a bunch of over-intoxicated girls. One girl got sick in the limo. Driver made them clean it up, as they should. Then he threatened to dump them on the side of the road unless they ponied up an additional $150. They paid the additional $150.
I called the manager this morning to question the additional charge- was there prior notice of additional charges, was the driver justified in charging the additional amount. Manager was pretty unpleasant, wants to charge an additional $100 on top of the $150.
Hey, you take a bunch of drunk-ass kids out for a night, collect $600 bucks, then threaten to dump them on the street because the utterly foreseeable event occurs? Tough, that's the cost of doing business with kids.?
