I currently live in Montana and go out of my way to find a good home cooked seafood meal. Nothing too light and overly pretentious was what I was looking for, and exactly what I found for an insanely reasonable price.
This was definitely one of the best southern seafood meals I've had in a very long time. I know you're thinking, no kidding guy from montana, but I've spent my fair share of time in new orleans and biloxi.
My major complaint about east coast seafood is their tendency to fry EVERYTHING, even some of the freshest seafood around. Not so here, everything was cooked with an attention to detail that added flavor to the dish without detracting from the fantastic flavor that comes from a dish constructed around fresh ingredients.
Pros: Great food, portions, staff. Straight up home cooking.
Cons: not a one
