I used to play softball on Friday nights at Woodlawn Field on 16th Street with my church's team and we'd go to Ferg's after every game. That's where my teammates introduced me to chicken wings. I ordered the mild wings every time with fries and I never got bored with them. They were great about getting us a big table for our large group (usually 10 people or so) and our servers were always quick and friendly. I also felt pretty safe being right across the street from the St. Pete Police Department. The prices are great too--$15 for food, drink and tip combined. The only downside for me is that it's often crowded during baseball season, because it's so popular. It's the closest restaurant to Tropicana Field; right across the street.
Pros: great wings, near Tropicana Field, good prices + service
Cons: sometimes too crowded for family dining
