The oil is there to protect YOUR gun until you buy it so it doesn't rust!\r

Clean your barrel and the mechanisms directly involved in firing (like the slide) with bore cleaner and wipe the other parts down with cut up tshirt. Then oil your guide rod and slide with mobile 1 synthetic 5w30 to keep things moving smoothly and to keep it from seizing in instances of heavy firing.
