Mother's Day Brunch 5/10/2010

I made reservations for my mom, my husband and myself for the mother's day brunch. The crowd waiting outside and the crowd inside was maddening. We were seated soon after arriving at a table for 6. I couldn't understand this since there were so many people waiting and there were only 3 of us. Oh well...more elbow room for us! We were standing in the long slow line near the bar/kitchen/register constantly being buffeted by the wait staff. No fault of theirs, the restaurant was just too crowded. Our waiter approached us and asked if we minded moving to a table for 3. No problem! When we finally got our food and back to the table we had been crammed behind a door and none of us would fit into the space for one of the chairs. (No...we are not big people) We refused the table and were immediately moved to a slightly more suitable location; still cramped but at least we fit. I was okay with this until I realized.....hell's bells....that 3 people had been seated at the table for 6 that we had just been asked to vacate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOT ACCEPTABLE. Brutti's, you might want to more closely monitor the number of people you allow to make reservations so that the experience isn't totally ruined by slow food lines and elbow-to-elbow contact with your fellow diners. I felt we totally overpaid for the experience we had. Pros: Food pretty good Cons: Too crowded more
