Food here is good only for non indians/non punjabi people who rarely eat or know about north indian Punjabi recipes. I had been to this restaurant few times being living in the neighborhood and concluded that they lack the taste in their food as well as service especially since present owner bought it. Lately had a horrible experience again when all food (main course) ordered did not come at a time, and by the time(after 10 min) naan/bread/yogurt served everything was cold. They do not have norms in serving liquor, same drink taste different each time based on how much of soda/water added to the drink. I had a fish and a lamb recipe and both were missing basic preparation of indian herbs and masala. When I contacted owner Balbir Singh next day to give feed back, his response was cold, least interested, unprofessional and he repeated one sentence again n again 'we never get any complaints' and was not anxious to find or know anything. I could understand from his approach that he is just interested in making money and has no value for service. They get enough business from local indian weddings or other parties or non Indian and non punjabi people who do not know real food taste/preparation or do not care when one is inviting large number of people.Same owner has another branch 'Gandhi' which is near disneyland and its the same story there. Most of their cooks and employees are illegal immigrants like other small businesses who do not have basic education or training in doing their work, hence quality n customer service is missing. When they use main dining sitting area for private parties, walkin customers are directed to another dining room where they do not have any music source and then service and food provided is awful. I will not go to their 3 restaurants and will not recommend to anyone. thanks....have a good day...
