I know it is not the branch that is at fault. I had $860.00 stolen from my US Bank account through an ATM. Criminals now have a method of collecting all the card and PIN numbers from recent transactions at any ATM - they are called ""skimmers"". It is usually unmanned ATM's so only use the ATM at the branch. I was told by a teller that the skimmers had been to that same ATM (Tigard Fred Meyer drive thru) before and it is still in use! So after making a fraud claim my acct was frozen for 10 days and when I asked them what I was to live on while they fixed it they said they could not help me! My money is stolen from their bank where I thought it was safe and they could not give me money to live on? Especially since they knew it was fraud and even told me it was because many other customers who used that ATM recently had money stolen that same day! I had no money to even buy gas to go to work. I now have late fees on my credit cards and once you make a late payment the interest rate increases. Well just imagine - what would happen if all the money you had to live on for the next 2 weeks was taken away? This caused me a lot of grief and money. I will NEVER use US Bank again. Stay away from that bank!
Pros: ?
Cons: money is not safe
