I travel a lot for work and I had neglected my car to the point where I needed to have the whole engine replaced. (It had a major oil leak which I ignored for quite some time) Needless to say I took my car to the dealer and they wanted to charge me way more than my car was even worth! I didn't want to have to take out a loan to buy a newer car. So I decided the most cost effective option was to have my car fixed. Not ever having an exclusive shop fix any of my previous cars, it was very time consuming looking for a good, reputable shop. After doing a little research I found this shop in Beaverton called CANYON AUTO REPAIR. When I got there, Jerry actually gave me a tour of the shop and took down some information for my car. I was very impressed because the facility seemed top notch and the shop was full of cars. It was on a Saturday so many of their engine suppliers were closed. During the work week Jerry had called me back after finding me an engine that had low miles and a very REASONABLE price. Jerry did a great job advising me of all the recommended parts that should be changed, and on all the parts and services that I could wait a little while longer since I was on a tight budget. He kept me updated throughout the repair process which I really appreciated. Best of all the original quote was EXACTLY the same. No surprises whatsoever. From start to finish it was a great experience. Jerry and Rick provided exceptional customer service that you only seem to get from independantly owned businesses.
