Bon Appetit in Dunedin and the Columbia restaurant in Ybor City are our very favorite eating establishments south of the Mason-Dixon line. Nothing is perfect, but they both come as close over such a long time as anything we have seen. The food is always fresh and obviously prepared with care, concern and expertise. The wait staff has been, on the whole, better than average and a few truly shine. The prices, although not cheap, are, in our opinion, reasonable. The view is, of course, fabulous, especially at sunset. However, you must get there early if you want a window table overlooking St. Joseph Sound. Don't blame the staff if all those tables are taken or if there are some open and you don't ""ask"" to be seated at one of them.
