On 5/8/10, a TLC school transportation bus driver was openly smoking cigarettes and tossing lit buts out the window, from Hancock Street in Quincy down Newport Avenue.
When I asked her if she knew it was illegal for her to smoke on a school bus, her response was ""I don't care""
I called TLC school transportation, with the license plate and description of the driver, but did not receive a response.
As a parent of special needs children, when bus companies don't adhere to the law, special needs children can't tell us.
Disgraceful.
