I purchased a house. Rich Ellis was the listing broker and I used a separate buyer's broker. As is customary, the brokers fee was to be paid by the seller.
The seller never paid the commission that Ellis was owed. Ellis sued his client (the seller) and named me in the suit - although I did not, in fact, owe any fee.
I had to hire an attorney to have myself removed from the law suit. Ellis Realty did not act honorably.
I would not engage in any real estate transaction with Ellis Realty
