If you are in the neighborhood of Boston Garden this time of year you HAVE to make it a priority to spend less than $3 and sit and get paddled around Frog Pond. It is seriously like stepping back in time to the 1800's when the boats first came about. The boat ride itself is about 15 to 20 minutes, but in my opinion if you want the FULL experience you have to do like my mother did for me as a child and I do for my nieces and nephews - bring along a French baguette and feed the birds (and if you want to get all silly you can pretend like you are in Mary Poppins and sing the feed the birds song)
