I was fortunate enough to be given a set of Pilates classes for my birthday 2 years ago, and have really enjoyed the experience.
It is a wonderful form of exercise, and even in the group reformer classes (3-5 people), you get personalized attention. Pilates is a great way to strengthen and tone your body, and is a gentle way to recover from injuries, while developing muscles and good posture. Lean and long is how ladies should think of it, and don't be afraid of developing some muscles... you're like a ballerina getting taller, stronger and more graceful with each class.
The Studio is very nice -- spacious, airy and clean, and the Teachers are outstanding. I have had the pleasure of working with KJ for 2 years and her instruction, kindness, humor and attention to detail are excellent. I actually enjoy going to exercise!
