I was a year behind on my car taxes on my 1990 Chevrolet Caprice. A whopping $56.00. I went down to pay them and she charged me for a whole other year on May 3 2010 even though they were not do until July. She had the right to do it according to some fly by night ruling the the pubic never new about, but also had the right not to charge me until July. I am on Social Security Disability with a fixed income. I told her if I paid the taxes that were not yet do I would not have the money to pay for the 2 year Registration. I needed temps plates anyway to take the car Thur emissions and then get the full registration. She had to have the money because she considered me a flight risk for 56.00. So she gave me the receipts for the two years to take to motor vehicle. I went there to get the temps and waited for two hours only to find out that she did not release the info to Motor Vehicle so I could not get my Temps. I drove back to Chaplin to find her office closed. She cannot do her job and because she did not do her job it cost me 20.00 in gas, 2hours at motor vehicle, a wasted trip back to Chaplin and then the ride home. Well I want this incompetent tax collector fired. How many more people has she done this to? She says she does this all the time. We need her fired. I need to know who to go to too complain about her and get her fired. John Stiebitz.
