ack's Place is a fantastic place for a cheap, tasty sandwich near the Alexandria coastline. It is quickly becoming my favorite $10 and under option in the Old Town area. This time, I went with the brisket sandwich au jus. Although the brisket could be of higher quality, it meshed well with the au jus and made for a perfect not too light-not too filling sandwich. For those who want a greasier experience, may I suggest any of their cheesesteaks? Jack's is probably best known for being a breakfast spot, but I haven't had the ability to try it out for that yet. This place is CASH ONLY so make sure you bring something other than the plastic.
