My AC broke so my warranty company sent Prestige out to fix it. They said a coil was leaking and needed to be replaced. The system had no coolant in it which was causing it to blow hot air. 19 days later they showed up with the part that brought with it a $235 coolant collection and disposal fee. The problem with the system was that it had no coolant to begin with! Less than 2 weeks later my AC again broke. Prestige would not honor their 30 day warranty on service because I was not a ""regular customer."" I instead was a ""warranty customer"" which I guess voids them from their own warranty? I had to pay a $95 overtime fee for them to show up on a Saturday. Then the tech informed me that the other coil was leaking and needed to be replaced. You mean to tell me they couldn't have figured that out when they replaced the first leak? Long story short, it's been over a week and still no word on my replacement coil. 90 degrees in my house and when I call to check on my part they say they can't help me because they are busy getting techs on the road. Outstanding customer service! And the new part also brings with it a $235 coolant collection fee! And if you try to get any answers from Patrick, you'll just end up more frustrated than when you started. Worst company I have ever had to deal with. Run and run fast and tell your warranty company to send someone else. The warranty companies have more than just one contractor so I recommend that you ensure prestige is not their representative. Cons: customer service, attitude, timeliness, etc. more
