I bought a 2010 Prius yesterday 4/3/10. Fantastic buying experience. I found Richard Garcia through another satisfied buyer on Priuschat. Like most people, I spent a lot of time researching and calling around.
Even though he was a fair distance (I'm in OC), I thought it was worth at least a call due to the positive response on Prius board. Really didn't expect a better deal from a dealer in Los Angeles. Boy was I wrong. My conversation with Richard took less than 5 minutes and by the end we had a deal on Prius III that was better than what I was quoted from OC dealers on a Prius II!
That wasn't the whole story, Richard offered to pick me up and drive me to the dealership. Worked out great as my wife and the kids had plans. At the store, the deal was as agreed upon on the phone. Though I was pretty sold on the car, Richard still wanted to make sure we took a good long test drive to be sure that this was the right vehicle for me. That's professionalism!
Excellent experience. In and out of there and on the road as a satisfied buyer. So far no one on Priuschat has posted a better deal, so that says something. If you're in the market for a Toyota and want no hassles and great deal, call or go see Richard. I know the next time, Richard will be my first call.
