I went to Jeff Swanson after suffering for 2 weeks with a lower back issue. In 15 minutes, I felt 10 years younger. Follow up visits addressed headaches I have had for years.
What followed soured my experience, however. They took a look at my insurance coverage, and magically, the maximums on my plan MATCHED the recommended treatment. Imagine that. Initially, I went 2-3 times per week, but after a month, I felt I no longer needed to go. I was inundated with phone calls at both my work and cell urging me to come back in. I felt harrassed! When I finally said "leave me alone" and informed them that I would be in touch if I needed them, I mysteriously was hit with additional billing due to some misfiling on their part early in the treatment. When I did not pay this (as I felt I did not owe this since I was on a pay-as-you-go plan), I again was harrassed at both numbers. I finally mailed a check just to get them off my back. The amount? $24. Was it worth it to lose a client? Not in my opinion.
The Net of it? Great chiropractor, but go in prepared to assert yourself or they will take you for alll they can -- and don't give them a phone # unless you are prepared to be called on numerous occasions.
Pros: Best chiropractor. Instant relief, great atmosphere
