I can not believe how bad my lawn looks after using Trugreen. Granted - I only had 3 treatments, but I had paid for more and Trugreen just canceled my service without my consent. But of course I had to contact them to get my money back because I had even paid for it all in advance. Then down the road I'm contacted by a ""manager"", Mel, who just wants to increase his retention numbers and began to berate me when I said I'd have to think about coming back and to not contact me for a month. ""Why would you need a month to think about it?!?"" Maybe because I don't want to deal with all the headaches they've caused me! But then after a new person came to my doorstep and said he'd have a manager call me and I discussed my concerns with said manager, I agreed to come back. Then this spring I noticed that I have huge patches of dead grass!! But according to them, its because that area was too shady. Well, why was there grass all the years before they showed up!?! It wasn't very thick, but it wasn't just dirt! They are pushy and don't back up their guarantee in the end. They would promise one thing and never deliver on that. I do not recommend them, ever!!
