The store is ok for milk or eggs (make sure they aren't expired though). As for their produce, IT'S TERRIBLE!!
For a store with the word ""Farm"" in their name, I have to wonder what the managers are thinking. I am disgusted each and every time I go in there. I only go back because they are so close to my house. I just got back from there. I had hopes of buying ONE onion along with some eggs. EVERY single onion was rotten! All types of onions; white, red, yellow ALL ROTTEN! Even the onions sold in bags were rotten. As for the garlic that I needed, which was a secondary thought, all of the bulbs had 3 inch sprouts growing out of them. Don't even think about buying cucumbers (wrinkled and disgusting to even touch), tomatoes, mushrooms etc.
This has been my experience every time I have gone into the store for the last 2 years. I'm the idiot for thinking that somehow one day I'll have a different experience in there. I always leave upset and having to go to a store further away anyway.
Oh, leaving is special too. The cashiers (always young woman) hardly mumble 2 words to you, most of the time they don't tell you the price; they expect you to look at their registers' screens and read it yourself. They don't smile, don't say ""thank you for coming"", don't say ""hello"" when they start ringing up your order... who trained these people??
They've had a 2 full minute conversations (flirting session) with someone who seems to be the manager (maybe manager's son?) before ringing up my order (without acknowledging me of course).
I'm writing this for two reasons. First, to warn people - if it's a ""Farm"" you want, this isn't it. Second, I'm hoping a manager/owner will read this and clean up their act!
THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTING!
Pros: OK if picking up one or 2 non-expired, sealed items.
Cons: Most vegetabels rotten, some shelf items expired, rude eploy
