This comment is in response to the review posted by Emily J. Emily brought her 2002 VW Jetta to our facility for service on 01/29/10. She spoke directly to a mechanic, stating that her vehicle ran poorly, the engine temperature gauge stayed cold and the check engine light was flashing. Upon initial diagnosis our ASE certified mechanic discovered that her engine oil appeared milky. At that point our service manager contacted Emily and her father (as requested) to discuss his findings. Emily's father ordered us to drain and refill the engine oil, drain the coolant and blow out the heater core and coolers. We completed the service as requested.\r

Emily states in her complaint that we told her she needed a new engine which would cost $4,000. Our service station does not sell engines, remove engines, replace engines or do heavy repairs of that sort. Additionally, we have no way of knowing how much a new engine would cost. We would have absolutely nothing to gain from telling Emily
