I walked in this office in my jeans and T-shirt to get a quote for a shopping center I co-own in La Jolla - I normally wouldn't go to an insurance office to get quotes but I was in the area earlier for lunch. The receptionist was on the phone and didn't acknowledge me for at least 10 minutes. I finally walked up to her and stated the nature of my visit; she looked at me up and down and said, "you co-own a shopping center in La Jolla? O--K---. Take a seat." She disappeared for another 3-5 minutes. When she came back she said nobody could help me at the moment and I could either come back later or fill out some forms she was about to hand me - total of 12 pages! At this point I had already made up my mind not to give them my business and I told her that I was very disappointed with her service; she was very surprised and said, "That's too bad that you feel that way!" I will NEVER go back there to get insurance quote and will everything I can to stop ANYONE who has any intention of doing more
