Like frustration...then call Sears 4/19/2010

BEFORE anyone reads this complaint/message, I want to be fair to the personnel at the Bridgeview, Illinois Parts and Service Center. When I FINALLY managed to reach them they took good care of me. THE PROBLEM WAS IN FINDING HOW TO CONTACT THEM. Please bear in mind, that I was calling a facility about 20 miles from my home. ONCE I GOT THROUGH TO INDIA, I was able to get the phone number to call the Bridgeview Parts and Repair Center. I did not want to order the parts I needed, expect to wait a week or so to get them, and RUN THE RISK OF GETTING A NOTIFICATION A WEEK LATER THAT THE PARTS WERE ACTUALLY NOT AVAILABLE. This has happened before with the Sears Parts Direct system. Soooo, Whereas the computer at the Aurora Parts Center showed that Bridegiew had the 2 parts I needed, I wanted to confirm they had them, and I wanted to pick them up as the Bridgeview location was not very far at all. THE PROBLEM WAS THE CALL-IN SYSTEM. PHONE NUMBERS POSTED ON THE SEARS WEB SITE AND OTHER WEBSI more
