The food is exceptionally average - at best. Pittsburgh (and surrounding areas) seems to be plagued with places that ""everyone knows are great"" and people rave about such well known establishments, but in actuality they are just ok or worse. Rico's follows this mold. \r
Families go here because they always have. Pittsburghers...go travel a little and you will realize that we have very very few decent restaurants. \r
The staff is nice and the decor is so-so (dated). The prices are bit high (reputation drive prices around here - not quality).\r
For an Italian establishment your red sauces should excel - these were bland and unexciting.
Pros: Nice Friendly Staff
Cons: Average Food, Staff Read Specials from Pad, Drinks were Slow
